It's Creeping

My Eczema doesn't look as bad as it usually does but it's itching like mad and it's creeping around my hand in different directions. It's going between my fingers & around by my little finger side of my hand & down my wrist. Has this happened to anyone else or should I start putting cream on more often?

" It happens to me all the time. In fact, it's doing it now on my thumb. It seems it moves like a grass fire, taking all the skin. What are you using for it? I've been using clobetasol propionate and it works. My problem is I let it go too far before I do anything about it. Good luck. You're not alone in this. "

" I was given some cream by dr but forget it when I went to help out at my Dad's house for two weeks. It actually cleared up a bit while I wasn't applying it so I haven't bothered with it since. I'm taking multi-vitamins & that seems to be helping a little just every now & then it flares up like, as you say a grass fire, and it itches like mad. "

" Hi, my Eczema also flairs up every nbow and so often. But if it does it sticks arround for a while, like right now. Creams alwyas help, but I only use organic ones or the oils I mix myself. For me it is mostly stress which triggers an outbreak. How is that for you? Also did you get the Eczema when you were an adult, or did it start in your childhood already? Mine started as an adult. "

" If you have eczema then you may want to read the below info in regards to body pH being too acidic(low) and PRObiotics.
A product like GNC: Digestive Health Powder (1/4 scoop daily) the pro & prebiotics along with digestive enyzmes help break down and absorb your food better so you get more nutrients going to all your organs... your skin being the largest and needing more nutrients stays healthier. It cleared up 80% of my son's eczema within a week!!!
I also believe that IF your body's eczema is NOT caused by an allergy THEN body pH may be the ultimate culprit. Probiotics have to be given every day. If you stop then the eczema comes back which means the GOOD bacteria (ie probiotics) used to absorb food are NOT surrviving when they should. This was proved to me when even using probiotics I gave my sone OJ for a few days in a row. The eczema around his neck was sooo RED. I figured the pH must be too acidic/LOW for the bacteria to survive. I gave him some baking soda in his milk before he when to bed to raise his pH levels and make his system more base/alkaline. By the morning the redness had when down from 9 to about 3 on a 1-10 scale.
Note I did not get this info from a doctor I just had to do all the research on my own.

HOPE this helps

PS pH makes sense because when you get a urinary track infection (UTI) you take cranberry juice which is low in pH or acidic to KILL the bacteria and get rid of the infection.
FYI Normal pH of blood 7.34, saliva 7.4
pH scale 0-6.5 =acidic 6.5-7.5 more neutral
7.5 & above base or alkaline
Veggies, whole wheat are base/alkaline
OJ, cranberry juice, are acidic
SO try to eat more alkaline food and take probiotics IF your sure an allergy is not causing your condition

" I think I can help you. I have a friend with really bad eczema on her hands, face, and elbows. Her hands are always dry, cracked, thick looking, stiff, and people shy away from touching her. I gave her the Arbonne baby care wash, baby oil, and baby lotion to try and guess what it's WORKING!!! The Arbonne will help with the eczema as they are mild, gentle, non-irritating, and help with redness and ITCHING!!! Check out the site vegan4animals.myarbonne.com you can buy online and have it mailed to you. Also feel free to email me "

" I guess it's that time of year again!! My advise would be never foget your cream no matter how many times a day you have to do it. I have to apply my moisturiser and steroids twice a day - every day. It drives me mad sometimes but I stick with it because prevention is better than cure-I hope!! Eczema reminds me of the red weed from mars on the war of the worlds that gradually colonises you, but I believe with the right care and application you can get it under control. Are you doing anything different lately - have you changed job? Are you outside more? Have you changed the hand soap in your kitchen?? Could be something has snuck into your life un-noticed as is causing you this aggro. "
