Hello. I have just joined this forum to try and speak to other mums who have children with eczema. For advice on foods etc. My 1 year old has had eczema from 1 month old. always has it. i also had eczema from about the same age but mainly in winter. she is very sensitive to all creams and i'm just starting to experiment with foods. her eczema is just under control now for the first time, but can be set off very easily. her eczema is mainly on torso, face and behind knees. i was wondering what type of foods most children are allergic to and does anyone have any good recipes.

" Hi! :) I have excema (I'm a teen) and I recently had an allergy testing to find I was allergic to milk, corn, corn syrup, eggs, seafood, etc. It's a lot. I'm not sure what most people are allergic to. Just thought I'd share. :)

" You might be interested in looking into your daughter wearing a hazelwood necklace.
My DD has had eczema since she was 3 months and nothing was really helping. My friend told me about these necklaces and since she has been wearing it she hardly has any breakouts at all! Supposedly they work by absorbing excess acid in the body (the wood has that natural property).
Anyway, you can find them at http://www.hazelaid.com
They're really cute too & safe for babies to wear because the clasp is made special.
Hope it helps. "
