" Gauging by the Title here,
"Eczema in Wierd Places!"
My first guess would not have been your Armpits...LOL. Sorry, couldn't help but laugh. But just think, it could have been someone else. Buah ha ha ha And then you wouldn't think the armpit is such a bad spot after all. "

" Ok, first of all I have crohn's colitis, crohn's can cause Eczema, don't ask how but several doctors said its just one thing that crohns can to. I have it in my ears! When I take prednisone it go's away like it was never there, as soon as the steroids leave my body back it comes. I have RX cream that works only a little, any advice? "

" It's a reaction to normal skin bacteria or fungus which multiply faster in warm and moist areas. Just need to make life harder for them by getting ventilation to the armpits. Can also try rubbing-in an antiseptic cream or soaking in a bath of QV Flareup (Oilatum-Plus) or salt (1kg to a large bath, salty as the sea), then keep those pits dry but moisturized. "

" Yeah I have experienced much more irritation and speading after a workout where my skin is warm and moist. Then it seems to itch more too. Especially at night. I scratch until I have raw spots in some of the worst areas like around my ankles. It feels so good to scratch, but the reward just doesn't pay off. I use antibiotic cremes and lanacane seems to work well. Also use lotions with menthol that helps cool and reduce itching. The salt bath though sounds like a good idea. I wish there was a product where you can just dump it in the bath tub, soak a few times a week and have it eliminate all this stuff... One thing I can say about salt is that it works well with poison oak. I used to get that so bad and would put salt in a dish with just a little water (just where the salty water was still very strong and kind of coarse) I would rub that on the infected areas and let the salt soak in as I scratched... The itch would go away right away and could see it drying up like the next day. I was amazed. I suppose the ocean would be very good too. I will have to experiment with that. Well not the Ocean cause it is to cold now, but the bath with salt thing. "

this earth so they could
sustain us milk and all lol.
Shaving your airpits can be
bad because everytime you
do it it takes a layer of
skin off.
Really as long as you
dont do it everyday its
all good.
We have Well water so
the water is fine where
I live::)
Thanks for the advice guys. "
