I need help, my 2 year old daughter has eczema all over, we can usually keep it in chek on her boyd by using eucerin lotion, but her scalp is awful. She scratches it until it bleeds, and I am trying to find a lotion that will help her. Any advice for the eczema on the body will be noted and appreciated.

Thanks

" My son gets in on his scalp as well. I keep his nails SUPER short, and when I bathe him I try to scrub all the crusties off with a soft brush. After his bath, when he wakes up in the morning, and before bed I coat his whole body, and scalp in aquaphor. It's a little messy, but it keep him moist and less itchy. For his breakouts we have different ointmenst depending on the degree of irritation. On the really bas spots we use Lidex, on the mid grade rashes we use triamcinilone, and desonide for the minor irritation. For his face and scalp we use Protopic. He's got a SUPER severe case. You may just want to try the desonide..it's mild and since hers doesnt seem to be that bad it could keep it under control. "

" Our daughter also has eczema on her scalp, when it gets really bad she will wash her hair with T-cel by shampoo and also rubs in Apple Vinegar Cider. It seems to clear up her scalp in a couple days. It will sting a bit, but we have cut down her scalp flairs by 80% with this method. "

" I use free and clear shampoo and conditioner for my son he has the same problem with his scalp. In two weeks it was totally gone. I put aquaphor on his scalp and body after his bath but it got hard when his hair grew back. www.vanicream.com. check it out i use the shampoo and conditioner and bar soap. I bath him everynight and barely dry him off and then apply the aquaphor. plus we have a liquid itch medicine he can take, plus some ointments for the red flare up areas that will help. sometimes they are gone by morning now. I know how you feel. And if you have any other questions feel free to ask. "
