" woo you're lucky you don't have a rash. im soaked.

but to answer your questions...
don't take hot showers. that will help the itchy skin. also, instead of showering..once every couple days you can take an oatmeal bath to help soothe your skin. i took one today. just take an old sock that you dont want anymore (make sure there are no holes) and fill it with about a 1/2 cup of straight up oatmeal, no sugar or fruits or nunna that. just oatmeal. and let it soak in the bath like a tea bag kinda deal. squeeze the oatmeal essense out too. the water will turn a milky color. and let it soak.

also, when you shower don't use scented body washes or body soaps. scents irritate the skin. same goes to pefumes and the detergents u wash ur clothes with.

also, lol... soak ur body with scent and dye free lotions within 2-3 minutes after showering, and dont scrub dry, dab dry when u dry off. lotions like eucerin, cetaphil, cerave are all pretty realistic in cost.

so this was long, but i hoped it helped a lil. ttyl "

" I'd go with Shelby's post and I'd like to add that you could also use baby oil right after stepping out of the shower. "

" Hot showers/baths are especially bad because they draw the moisture out of your skin. Try warm water instead. BTW You might want to read the following link. It speaks of a correlation between skin and GI Track health(balance of good bacteria and digestive enzymes).PRObiotics are very good for both. I had my son try GNC: Digestive Health Powder which has Porbiotics, Prebioticcs AND Digestive Enzymes. I could NOT beleive it within 3 days I seen about 75% reduction in redness and some spots were gone. It has continued to clear up. It was much better than the lotion that just treated the symptom this treats the root problem.

" Yes!! I've experienced this and I just recently started using organic soap and it helped me so much. Get it from Trader Joes or Wholefoods. No more soap from reg stores! Even Dove had me itching like crazy. Hope this helps. "
