Thinking about going back to my old ways!

So yesterday when I went to the doctors, I found out that I gained 6 lbs. I ALWAYS have the urge to purge after everything I eat, and I am seriously considering going back to b/p to help me lose the weight again. After a year or so since I've had this eating disorder...I've lost 23 lbs, and now I've gained 6 back. I am so freaking disgusting, it makes me sick! Someone talk me out of this!

I went to see my therapist on Tuesday. At the end of the session I asked her if she had any recommendations on anywhere I could go to get help and recover. Then she said, "I'm more worried about your cutting, more then your eating disorder," and then I told her that I'd like to work on my eating disorder more though. She said that was fine.
I mean both things that I do to myself are dangerous but when she said that, I don't know. I just think that my eating disorder should come before my cutting myself you know? I'd rather get help for the ED and then work on my cutting...that way I could fix both problems...see what I'm saying?

Thanks for the support!!!

" You deserve help in any form that it comes. Can you suggest to your T perhaps somewhere that treats both? Maybe somewhere trauma related (usually there is a common thread between ed's and cutting to trauma, not sure if it is true for you though).

You deserve help. Don't go back to ED. It's not worth it. Both cutting and ED ruin your life and risk your health. "

" She said that there are no places around my area, so I have nowhere to go. I mean I'm overweight and sure don't look like I have an ED, but I do and I want it to go away but at the same time I still want. Not the part where it controls my life and takes over but...idk, I consider it my friend. The person or voice I can go to to deal with things, and it scares me that I think this way! "
