Hi i was diagnosed with Cervical Dystonia a year ago. Then i went back about jerky movements in my shoulders and legs. Saw a trainee doctor. Who said it was all in my mind and i needed psychiatric help. Because he couldn't see the tremor in my neck. Which goes when it disides to. It had calmed down by then along with the jerky movements in my shoulders. So i was undiagnosed. God knows whats on my medical records say. Slowly the movements have started to return. My neck is starting to twist to the right and my shoulders are jerking at night. Quite strongly. My friends and family are starting to notice it again. Help. Has anyone eles had dystonia come and go like this. After the the treatment i had last time im not in a hurry to go back through the mine field of diagnoses.

" See a recommended Neurologist in your area- if you don't know of one, go to the dystonia-foundation.org web site and see if they know one in your area. This is exactly what I have, and I take botox injections every 3 1/2 to 4 months, plus medications. Your meds should be geared to your condition. Konopin is extremely addictive. I don't take it.
