Hello All, I've recently found out that I'm probably dyslexic with some degree of dyspraxia thrown in for good measure ! I hoping to get screened properly at the end of Oct. I'd like to know if anyone out there has experienced any of my problems and if so could you help me make sense of them please, this is driving me mad ?
- Appauling short term memory loss - Confusing left with right - Struggling every day to get my point over - Constant frustration - When reading seeing another word in place of what is actually in front of me - Pronouncing words - Always checking over what I've just done - Bumping into things and falling over - Always tired, restless nights I really would appreciate any help anyone out there might be able to give me. Yes... I have appalling memory.. I apparently have bad working memory which is a little different but yerh I will forget something a second latter but remember my childhood clearly.
The only thing I don’t have is "When reading seeing another word in place of what is actually in front of me" but I tend to make up words that are not there. The last two you mentioned I have but I think it’s because I think too much and I’m just very clumsy btw I love spellcheck!!!! donno what I would have done without it.
