Hi, about nine months ago I experienced a bout of lightheadedness while shopping. I sat down but after that didn’t feel to good. Within a day or two I was feeling unstable and much like I was on a boat. When I turned I would feel dizzy and lightheaded. I went to see my Internist and she tried various things including blood pressure medicine. My blood pressure has been a bit high. My blood tests were normal. She referred me to a neurologist who referred me to an ENT who specializes in ear problems and dizziness. After a series of hearing and balance tests I was diagnosed with Meniere’s Disease. He told me to watch my salt and put me on a diuretic, which helped my blood pressure. He also told me to get EarVite, Vitamins formulated to promote ear health. Well, I am feeling better but still feeling light headed and have to be so careful about quick turns. I am still rather uncomfortable. I am seeing my doctors but feel that they are not coming up with anything substantial. I have not had tinnitus and only once the the room spin and that was after turning in bed and it was brief. Any suggestions?
