Maybe you should just weigh one day a week and then record that one time. Our bodies do fluctuate all the time. You weigh less first thing in the morning and then as the day goes on, you seem to go up. Not only should you weigh once a week, but the same time every time you weigh. Then don't step on the scale again for a week. This is something that always sabotaged my weightloss, so I hardly step on the scale anymore. Plus, if you are doing any weight training you may be gaining muscle so even if you are going down in size, you may not be going down much on the scale. Hope this helps.

Yea - I'm just going to go with the 8:00 weight every time. I know I should weigh myself once a week, but I'm the kind of person who likes to hop on the scale like..five times a day :D I'll probably end up, for serious calculation, comparing my 8:00 weight today with my 8:00 weight next Tuesday. Good to know my scale isn't broken at least :D Thanks!! :)

This hapens to me too, gravity is stronger later in the day apparently. Seriously tho' you will weigh more at night and my scales are digital and still inaccurate, to the stage of the kilograms and the pounds not being the same on different days, I can have gained pounds and lost on the kilogrammes and they're new ones.
I think it's best to try to avoid getting weighed if at all possible and go by how your clothes feel or just once every week or two.
I find there's nothing more depressing than thinking how good I've been and how much better I feel only to get weighed and realise I'm heavier.
Hope you have a happy day!!!

Unfortunately, my clothes do not feel dramatically different :/ I know I shouldn't be worried about it, but right now I'm just waiting for my stepmom to wake up so I can go into her bathroom and use her scale! :D

I HATE THE SCALE. I WEIGHT MYSELF TOO MUCH AND JUST READING THIS THREAD MAKES ME WANT TO AVOID EVEN MORE. EVERYONE IS RIGHT, ONCE A WEEK AT THE SAME TIME IS BEST, I'M QUITE GOOD AT SABATOGING MYSELF WHEN I SEE THAT HORRIBLE NUMBER. IT MAKE ME FEEL LIKE MY 3 MILE WALK MEANT NOTHING....SO THEN I EAT:(

Ugh, I know the feeling. It's so much easier to diet when you feel like you're losing weight. Just stick with it! Everything you don't eat, every extra step you take - those are calories that would have been fat. Eventually, you'll see the results

I don't bother with a scale.
I am weighed at the gym every 2 weeks by my trainer on a scale which takes into consideration your age, height, weight, and calculates your body fat as well.
Focus more on the diet and exercise areas of your plan, and before you know it, you will be losing the weight and fat that needs to be lost.

:( But it's sooo hard to resist. 'Weighing myself' is the new 'eating a cookie.'

It does take some willpower to avoid the scale. I think I might put mine in the basement when I get home

When I was a teen, I would spend all day trying to figure out why I weighed different amounts at different times. I think it's just wasting time, really. I think weighing once a week might be better. That's what I've been doing. (When I remember to do it.)
