I hear a number of people rave about Phentermine. It didn't do squat for me. The only thing that has worked so far is eating right, eating less and working out.

What you are going to find is that you are going to HAVE to take more time and diligence to making more healthy food for yourself. It is a lot of work, but if you don't you will eat the easier unhealthy food, and not be able to lose weight. It involves a lot of planning, buying lots of fresh fruits and veges, and usually quite a bit of chopping. Remember you are worth it, and not only will you lose weight with your efforts, you will gain great health too. Take walks for excercise, this seems the easiest to do. Pills won't work. Unfortunately, just personal effort. It seems that everything in life that is worth attaining is difficult, but so rewarding. If you are eating sometimes for comfort, try and find something to replace it. Best news though is that once you start eating healthier, those bad foods won't even be tempting. Your body will start to crave the good food that you give it. You CAN do it without pills!

I use one every once in a while called Corti-Slim. It's one of those pills that is supposed to somehow "target" the belly-fat problems of us middle-aged women. I don't know if it really does that, but it does give energy and curb appetite, although it also gives mild hot flashes and jitters. The directions say to take two a day, in between meals, but usually I just take one in the early afternoon on occasional days when I find myself with the munchies/doldrums. For me, it's really just to get myself over that binge-urge on a boring or stressful day. Other than that, I don't like pills, because it's too easy to rely on them instead of good habits and willpower, and of course when I stop taking the pills, I haven't developed good habits or willpower, and then I fatten up again with a quickness!

Talk to a holistic doctor. It's not diet pills, but they'll give you things to keep your body running in a cleansing and healthy manner on a daily basis.

Yes, Meridia works. It works on your brain chemistry, so no jitters. It is a prescription drug, and it wasn't covered by my insurance ($120 for a months supply). I really liked it - totally took away hunger, helped so much with good food choices and portion control. But I am off of it now due to cost. I have been off of it for a month and haven't regained what I lost.

Hi im new to the site, just wanted to say hi, i do agree though with the overall opinion that seems to be diet and excersise is the best way to go. I however know from my struggle that you most defineately need some willpower thrown in and also need some energy to give to yourself sometimes.
