Hi welcome to the site. I myself don't believe in diet pills. I still think the old fashioned way is the best. Balanced diet and increased exercise. I know it's not easy with a new baby but try to grab healthy small meals as you go through your day.

First, You are very welcome her at DS! Most diet pills cause you to lose some water weight, but in the long run they do not have much effect. Take it from some one who has tried the all. Go healthy food with exercise. That is the best way.

I've tried a bunch and they all suck. They're a waste of money, just marketing schemes. Prescriptions can work but only for as long as you take them and then you're back to square one or worse, because you don't learn good eating habits and exercise, it's not a life style change, when you depend on a pill. And making the lifestyle change with proper diet and exercise is the only way you're going to lose weight and KEEP IT OFF.

Yes one worked very well for me. Perhaps too well, since the FDA ended up banning it. Its supposed to be back now, but the FDA only allows a worthless watered-down version in this country.

I believe in the natural ways, but my hubby has tried a bunch.
He likes the professional hydroxycut. He also makes sure to get lots of exercise and eat right when he takes it. it is just a helper to him... not the only result maker.

Yeah, I like hydroxycut too; with a healthy lifestyle it does give a boost to results. But as you said, the key is still healthy diet and training.

I took prescription phentermine and loved it while I took it. It completely curved my appetite and gave me a huge burst of energy without the jitters. However, when I stopped taking it I gained all my weight back and thensome. Now I am just trying to get back to the weight I was before I began taking phentermine. I think lifestyle change of diet and exercise is the most effective and safest way to lose weight.

I wish something in a pill worked. I took Phen-Fen and nothing happened. Took something a friend of mine ascertained, not exactly lawfully and it made me break out in hives and had to go to the ER.

Diet pills are drugs and I don't believe in drugs anymore. I only took 1 pain killer yesterday while I was in the hospital passing a kidney stone. I did not fill the prescriptions for pain kiilers, antibiotics, etc that the Dr gave me. Back when I did use diet pills, they were only effective while I was taking them. When I stopped, I gained the weight right back. It is better to change your eating habits. Eat more fruits and vegetables. Put less butter, cheese, sauce, salad dressing, ketchup, bbq sauce, etc. on your food. Read labels.
