I AM NEW TO THE SITE AND WOULD LOVE TO HEAR IF ANYONE HAS BEEN ON ANY DIET PILLS THAT HAS HELPED OR HURT THE ATTEMPT TO LOSE POUNDS. MY DOC HAS STATED THAT SHE WOULD PUT ME ON A PILL TO HELP CURVE MY EATING BUT WOUNDERING IF THIS IS GOOD FOR A NEW MOM TO DO SINCE I FORGET TO EAT AT TIMES. IT SEEMS THAT WHEN I DO IT I EAT THE WRONG FOODS. MOSTLY JUNK FOODS BECAUSE THAT IS THE QUICKEST TO GET TO. JUST LOOKING FOR SOME HELP ON THIS MATTER.

" The only one that worked for me was Ephedra and that has been banned. That helped me with energy and appetite. I lost 65 lbs but also toned and firmed, I have never found anything like it since then. It was through Advocare. I loved it and wished they would bring it back. "

" While I personally do not believe in "diet pills", I do believe in taking a good vitamin on a daily basis.

The long-term successful outcome is through diet, exercise and a lifestyle change (I've lost 137 pounds doing that.)

For those of you who are not members of our support group, please consider joining us here on DS at http://dailystrength.org/groups/ra...

While I personally do not believe in "diet pills" or gastric bypass as an "answer", there are times when it is the only option for a morbidly obese patient in trying to save their life. My reasoning lies in the fact that if those patients do not address a lifestyle change, they are doomed to "undo" the effects of the medication or the surgery.

That said, I am no physician and cannot speak for the professional community. Dr. Orrange, here on DS, wrote an article entitled "I Want to Lose Weight - Where Do I Start" which can be found at http://dailystrength.org/blog/31-i... In that article she mentions Meridia and Orlistat as the two medications that physicians are currently using with some success. Please look to her article to inform yourselves further as she has some other thoughts that should be considered before considering this option.

Sunshine wishes,
Ranae "

" I agree with Linda F on how after you've eaten healthy for awhile, you begin to crave the good stuff your eating rather than junk.
I'm on day 11 of a 21 day Daniel Fast, for too many reasons to explain, I can't believe how easy it's been. For now I've eliminated: meat, dairy, bread, most grains, and sugar. And I'm eating mostly fruit, veggies, nuts & seeds and that is what I'm craving. All I want for dinner tonight is a delicious spicy stir fry, rather than the 4 or 5 slices of pizza & then dessert on top of that, which is what I usually have on a Friday night. I am now determined to eat healthy even after the fast. "

" all diet pills works. what people don't realize is you gotta put the work in it too. Many take it and think they'll lose. exercise and diet still have to be done as most say and they provide bit help to start.

I hear lipo6x is amazing "
