Last Jan I had total kidney failure and was only 4-6 hrs from coma--even my Pastor was called. I was in ICU, and then a hosp room for Dialysis. Then I had it for a few mos as an outpatient until I was up to 60% kidney function.
Today I was given great news! My function is up to 100% with a creatinine of 1.1.
I just thought I would tell everyone that it can be done!! It hasn't been an easy road, and I did stick to the renal diet almost 100%.
I wish you all success with your therapies and hope you have wonderful outcomes! Hugs, Judy

" Thats absolutely great. What was the cause of this sudden failure? Usually that sort of failure is caused by a single event such as poison and venem. "

" My kidney failure was caused by salmonella and E-coli. We had gone to Vegas over the Holidays because it was our 1st Xmas since my son died and I couldn't face it at home. We ate the same things, and only had buffet on Xmas day, so we are unable to pinpoint anything it might have been! Thanks for asking--the best to you! Judy "

" judy i was just wondering when you say total kidney failure do you mean that you werent even producing urine? my dad stopped producing anything a couple of months ago. but his kidney failure was due to so much meds so quickly and then he caught mrsa and they have loaded him with antibiotics. the docs said that all of the meds destroyed his kidneys considering my dad took nearly nothing before. anyway praise the Lord for your recovery. Our family continues to pray for my dad and i have a peace and faith that the Lord will restore my dad. How many months were you on dialysis? thanks for the inspiration "
