Dialysis Support Group

Are there any assistance programs that my aunt can get help from? Her rent is due next Tuesday but since she's been in and out of the hospital, she has no money. Her job is threatening to fire her (which is against the law, isn't it? They can't fire someone because they are genuinely sick and was hospitalized for 2 weeks getting intraveinous antibiotics?). She will be evicted from her apartment. I have no room for her to stay in my house. If I had a space, she would have it. My uncle has no space in his house either. She needs to have her own apartment or house close to where we live that way we can take turns taking her to her treatments. Right now, they live in Dickinson, TX and we're back home in Louisiana. Katrina displaced everyone (y'all know that story). She couldn't return home though because her apartment complex was messed up that bad. I think they tore it down. I think that if I can get her to southeastern LA, we (her family) can help her. What programs should I try to get information on? There is a kidney center not far from my house. It's a brand new building so it should have some pretty good technology in there.
