I just started taking glypizide extended release and get a headache immediately after taking it.
I was told this is a common side effect. Has anyone else experienced this with this med. and if so did the headaches go away?

" Hi, I have been taking Glipizide med for sometime along with Avandia. I do not recall headaches in the beginning. Now, I have been taking off of it. and yes! I am having mild headache. I was told by my Doctor it was normal and will wear off soon. Hope this helps.. "
