Advice:
Anyone used supplements to lower Blood Glucose?

I've lowered my BG numbers to between 132 and 187 in just a little under a week by drastically changing my diet and taking supplements suggested by the nutritionist.
My Dr. suggested JANUMET and gave me samples that I have not taken. I will continue for another week with the GlycoTrol (supplement) and diet changes to see if I can still lower my Blood Glucose numbers and maybe I won’t even have to start taking Janumet. Any advise would be appreciated.

" Anything that will lower your BS is well worth it. All of these meds have their side effects which is sometimes more dangerous than not taking anything at all.
Cowboy you have excellent numbers. How about sharing some of your meal ideas.
Awesome A1C.
My numbers are usually in the 90's But if I cheat then I pay the price by them going over 100 Yesterday had ice cream with chocolate syrup "Yumo" BSF this morning 100 My last A1C was 6.4 "

" I started cinnamin pills, but then just got a jar of cinnamin, I mix it with applesauce two times a day, my husband use honey to mix his. Diabetes runs high in his family. But his is under control great and he eats whatevery he wants. It may take two weeks for it to work for you, so keep taking it "

" No supplement works for everyone -- garlic can help. So can cinnamon, bitter melon, and goldenseal. Be sure you take a therapeutic dose of each to really give it a fair trial. Vinegar or lemon juice added to every meal lowers the glycemic index of whatever you're eating. You can buy vinegar in tablet form. "
