I am a Type 1 diabetic and have dealt with this condition for 35 years. Many things I have come to accept and deal with through the years. Although, there is one phenomenon that I am experiencing and can not seem to find an answer. When I eat I start sweating profusely. I do not know what causes this and wonder if I am alone in dealing with this condition. If anyone else experiences this or knows what causes it please let me know. It is extremely embarrassing especially in social situations. I just need a little help in understanding. Thanks.

" Hi Logan

I have not had this but I have looked it up online and it could be something called Frey Syndrome, or Gustatory Sweating. Please note that I am not saying it is this thing, but that it could be. I am not a doctor and have only done a google search and that is what came up. But it may be worth pursuing with a doctor so you can test and find out if this is the cause or not. "

" Hmm well from what I know it could possably be dumping syndrome caused by food being moved out of the stomach and into the small intestine too fast. it can cause these types of symptoms but I would ask your doctor about this to get a real medical diagnosis. "
