On another forum I visited, one person said that they lost weight (small amount) by switching from Lantus to Levemir because Lantus increases appetite and Levemir does the opposite. Has anyone found this? Is it worth doing?

" I seriously doubt that. Lantus and levemir work differently, levemir is newer, it works by attaching to the albumin in the blood and releasing slowly. Usually you might need a higher dose with levemir. Its not going to effect your appetite. Its notworth doing in my opinion. Hope this helps. "
