Losing Weight

I'm having a hard time losing weight. I've always struggled with it, even before being diabetic. Now, I feel a lot of pressure to succeed and it just seems to depress me. You would think eating in a way that controls your blood sugar would make the pounds drop off. It sure isn't for me though. My blood sugar is under good control. Why can't I have it both ways?

" Some people control their blood sugar by eating a high-fat diet. You need to get your fats down to 2g/serving. Then watch the pounds drop off!

It's also apparently true that Type 2 MAKES people gain weight for some crazy reason no feebleminded MD can understand. It probably has to do with inflammation. One things that works for many of us is an anti-inflammatory diet, which is a royal pain but really worth it. "

" It's all so hard. Isn't it? Thank you for your suggestions. I need to do something different than what I'm doing. That's for sure.

I am walking and doing some dancing for exercise. My meds are not supposed to be causing weight gain, but it makes one wonder.
