What do you snack on?

Does anyone have any favourite snacks that work for them and don't send their blood sugars up?

I'm still "learning the ropes" and am looking for suggestions.

Thankfully I'm not a sweet tooth, but am I a crispy, spicy, kind of snacker. I had gotten some mini rice cakes, but they don't seem to be agreeing with me.

Help!

I find that I'm getting afraid to eat. NOW, that's a strange one for me!!

" I do like my sweets sometimes so I found these sugar free jello cups and pudding cups. They seem to work for now. I also get some sugar free ice creams too. I check the labels carefully though. Some items that say no sugar added or sugar free are high on carbs or have the same amount of sugar as the regular stuff. "

" I like raw carrots. If there is ice cream in the house I eat that too. Really have to read lables. I had sunflower seeds the other day and later I felt like my sugar was high. They were dry roasted but I think they had sugar in them. "

" I have a big sweet tooth!! But found a chocolate that is really healthy and has only 3 carbs. I learned about it from a friend who has other friends that it lowered their sugar levels. "
