My numbers have been really high (have been under massive stress for 2 years until recently) Is anyone else taking this drug and is it helping you? I have had no side effects so far after 2 weeks but it has cut my appetite and it actually increased my numbers.

I am on 5mg have not lose too much weight. it is expenseive in my opion. i take it with metforin. it does work for me but is not as easy as just taken a pill

Wow...the Byetta hasn't increased my numbers. I've been on it for a month now. I was discharged from my diabetic nurse because I'm doing so well. I also experienced a cut in my appetite which I'm not complaining about. I wish I had been put on Byetta sooner but I had to convince my endocrinologist to put me on it. I would contact your doctor about the increase in your numbers. Maybe there is something else going on. Diabetes is no exact science and it seems anything can throw off numbers. Good luck! :)
