I find that when I have high blood sugar, I begin to wheeze, like my asthma is bad or something. Anyone know why that might be??

Hi serenity
Wikipedia lists one symptom of DKA as "Hyperventilation, at first rapid and shallow, then progressively deeper and less rapid." Maybe that's it. That is at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diabe... and it also lists something called Kussmaul breathing (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kussmaul_breathing) which may be related.
