my parents have always had times where they don't get along real well. they yell, and argue, and sometimes my dad even leaves for a few days, but other than that they're pretty happy. but this time, my dad lost his job. he said it was a good thing because he hated his job anyway, but the next morning he was in a really bad mood. he yelled at my mom and was terrible. i love my dad and i have always had a lot of respect for him. but this time he went too far; he hurt all of us, especially my mom. he left, and we don't think he's coming back. as a little kid, the thing i feared most was my parents getting divorced. i guess i've changed a little, but not a heck of a lot. i'm pretty sure they're gonna get divorced...i suppose i could get through it. i just don't want to see my mom get her heart broken. if your parents have been divorced, and you have any tips on how to get thourgh it, please let me know...

my parents got divorced a few years ago too and it was really hard to get through cuz my dad left our family and then my mom got cancer and he tried to sue us for some stupid shit but anyway u just got to think positive and see that hes ruining his chance to have a great daughter and its his loss not yours Good Luck! and if u ever need to talk im here for u

my parents have been arguing in front of us almost a year. then last month i was told their getting a divorce...i was slowly but surely crushed. i thought that them being divorced would end the tension, but it hasn't. its made 20 more problems. i feel sad/conflicting feelings when i go visit my mom...and she doesn't come on vacation with us anymore. i once thought "at least my parents love each other and get along, because alot of kids don't have that" ha! my worst fears came true and now i'm confused and angry, sad and more depressed.i can't deal with the fact my family is no longer whole again. and we're all STILL miserable. i wish i could help you but i'm here to talk if u want.

I think you should just know that they're getting divorced because they can't relate to each other in a manner that is healthy or respectable for themselves, and/or you. Know that they both love you, and that just like everyone else they can be confused. I know I used to think about my parents as.. not having all the answers, but at least being able to explain to me things about why they do this/that. Sometimes even they don't know. But yes, just remember that they both care for you, even if they no longer care for each other ( although, they very well still might. )

my parents devorced before i was even born!! but they tried to work it out!!! they had me and my brither!! they had a total of 5 kids!!!! my dad and mom finally was done with each other for good when i was in second gade! i thought it was all my fault because i really didnt under stand!!! all i know is that my dad didnt live with me any more and i dint know why!!! this summer he finally pushed me over the edge!!! he moved to florida!!! i am here for any one that needs help and to talk
