Depression - Teen Support Group

I'm with you on this one. It doesn't make sense. Relationships at any age just end up in disappointment and pain so I really don't get it. Why try?

Well people just want someone that'll accept them for who they are. They want someone to talk to, to have a good time with, to comfort them when they are down. I'm sure most people don't want to be lonely and that other person really fills that void.

You're fifteen, a few bad experiences doesn't mean every relationships turn to crap. Got your whole life ahead of you to find the right person.

Beating my depression and finding that person are my only real goals in life that I'm sure of I want. The feeling that you have that other person there to get you through the hard times is the best feeling in the world.

Im 17, and I have never been in a relationship, nor do I want to be. I know everyone tells me that I have my whole life ahead of me, THATS THE POINT OF THIS POST. Why do teens think so much about relationships when they have their whole lives ahead of them??

I agree that we have our whole life ahead of us but we want a relationship early so we can experience how a relationship is.

true, I have problems with my friendships, so i guess i have no business getting into a relationship, it would probably push me over the edge with the problems that it comes with

But the way I see it is that if two people really belong with each other and care about each other then there shouldn't be too much if a concern for problems.

Thats true but that also means that they weren't right for each other.
