HELP WHAT DO I DO NOW?

Okay, my 12 year old was hospitalized the first part of April for trying to commit suicide. THursday, he was taken of the antidepressant he was on and given a mood stabilizer, thinking he may be BIPOLAR. He had a bad day today. He was angry and kept cussing under his breath and rolling his eyes. Then he told the social worker who just started working with him how he is no good, etc. He was disrespectful to socialworker as well as to me tonight. I told him that I love him, but it is hurtful when he behaves this way. He went on to say that he hates his life. I asked him if he would tell me if he was thinking about hurting himself again and he said maybe, sort of. So I asked if he was thinking about it now and he said "yes." Now what? I don't know what to do. Right now he is in bed and has fallen asleep thanks to Desyrel. But should I call someone abouthis statement tonight or wait and call his therapist in the morning? I am confused. I know that he made a pact to let someone know before he hurt himself, but was this it. Is this his way of telling someone? What do I need to do? HELP!

" It is very hard to watch a loved one go through this. It dosen't hurt to call the crisis team I know the one in our area has someone on call 24/7 so don't be afraid to call them. I know the counseler we had said call anytime and if they threaten to do something call. That is what they are there for and they will let you know what to do.. I will keep you and your son in my thoughts and prayers. "
