It is shocking to see how angry some people responded to my question and mypost, others took it the way I meant it, if we as a group get used to seeing the same headline over and over again, then start to ignore it when someone new comes along, that is where I see the problem. I am sure that if you spend your time talking/chatting with someone and trying to help them, suggesting they go to a Dr. and get help, then the very next night they are looking for a new person to do or say the very same thing, I just dont understand, I certainly was not being a mean, I cant believe how hostile some of the people are

those angry people don't understand or there blind. so no it doesn't surprise me in how some responded. good post. we do seem to have a problem though and i understand what your saying. some people here who do it over and over again really need to get some outside help. more people need to pay attention to the post that people make.then they won't be blind to it.

Wow nothing better to do I see...to worry about how many times someone has requested help etc....you are hurting people when you make unnessary negative comments as you have in your post entitled as you are with freedom of speech...but for Gods sake, stop and think before you post alot of times this does more harm than anything else...already I have read how harmful your post has been to others..try to think of something positive you can do for someone....offer your help as a listener and thank God you are not going through what they are

Also I do understand what you are saying about crying wolf but think how you could have stated your thoughts in a more productive manner....

In my humble opinion, the fact they keep posting it is more alarming to me then someone who posts it once or twice. It could mean it's always on their mind and they are a step away from carrying it thru.

Can I just say, if you dont want to read these kinds of posts, dont visit the crisis centre, the clue is in the title, lol. I am new here and obviously dont know you all like those of you who have been regulars longer, sometimes we can't fix others and we then get angry when they dont accept our help (see the rescue victim persecute drama triangle). I think these kinds of posts come across as judgemental esp to those who are vulnerable if we feel this way it is better just to withdraw and vent with someone or put on ignore like juice said but not put up these kinds of posts where anyone could id who these ppl r so u may almost as well have said their names. I am sure that these ppl in the majority are relly struggling, and will certainly have read this thread and be feeling worse some deps very deep and hard to shift even with treatment we are a dep resource and we need to be mindful of this esp when we have a member who od'd the other day fter being told to stop whinging and do something. Best wishes to you all i hope you hear this in the spirit that it is meant which is out of concern always for those who cannot cope
