Hi All

I'm feeling very overwhelmed right now and I don't know what to do. I keep making carless mistakes at work and now my boss is starting to notice--I fear that I'm going to loose my job if I don't stop making all these mistakes. And i've been having a hard time in school too (I'm supposed to be an honor student, but I've been failing all of my exams this semester) Not to mention I've just been diagnosed with Bulimia and it's been very hard. I have a meeting with my therapist later on tonight, but I don't know if I can wait until then. I haven't cut since Feb 1st but I'm feeling myself slipping.

Can someone please help?

Any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks
Laly

" Hey laly - i'm not suprised you are making mistakes! You have a lot on your mind right now and understandably so.
Are you able to take a break, ten minutes, perhaps get some air so that you can breathe and reboot. Give youself a little time to relax and get your mind back in order.
I would suggest perhaps finding and dealing with one task, when your mind begins to wonder, bring it back. Catch any thoughts that make you feel bad about yourself, like worrying about being fired.

I know you dont feel you can last the rest of the day but I have faith that you can, because you have survived before, you can survive today as well! It may not be easy but you can do it. Hang on in there and soon you'll be meeting with your therapist and be able to get advice from a professional ;-) My thoughts are with you sweet! X x "

" Sounds like you're under a lot of pressure right now. Take a deep breath and think about what you can control right now, at this moment. You haven't cut for 68 days, and you control whether that becomes 69 or goes back to 0. Hang on until you can talk to your therapist. You CAN do it; you've been doing it. "

" It's excellent that you haven't cut. Keeep up with the therapy, take frquent breaks from studying, and hang in there. A diagnosis of bulimia is a tough one. "
