Do you think anybody's life here is perfect? Uh, okay, whatever!
We're all going through life's ups and downs, but we're trying to teach some here how to go through, and continual self-pity isn't going to do it! There is power in positive thinking! Try it!

jloz, come on please, must people agree with you or be reported?? The 'lol' was related to a comment someone made completely unrelated to this topic, look back please.
Cerri is a trained nurse and so i think you should respect her opinion on medical matters, regardless of her personal beliefs. We have done nothing other that explain the power of positive thinking. I think you should read back and if you could explain exactly what has been said that deserves shame to be brought upon us, that would be appreciated. There's no need for threads like this to turn into trivial arguments. you have your opinions, others are entitled to theirs, please leave them to it.

People on the fibromyalgia board gave you reasons to live and did not agree on the alternative, yeah they said the pain can be unbearable, one even said you need to go through this grieving stage to move on to the angry stage, so the 'healing' can begin.
jloz39, thanx for the head up. ;-)
I have no other advice to offer.

gee well why dont you ask her how it made her feel?? You dont have to call names to be mean. Someday life will pick someof you people up and drop you on your asses and then you may get it. Is that how you think a professional or anyone who cares about someone and what their sayig would react? O but its okay to cut yourself!

Yeah, and I need more coffee!
No body here is bashing whyme for feeling the way she is. We are offering a life changing cure for the unhappy thoughts she, and others continue to live in, and dwell on.

jloz, I've had my share, and still do. Today, I'm going through something that would be very devastating to me a few months back, but due to the power of positive thinking, and having faith in the Universe/Spirit, I'm refuse to worry. What will worrying get me? Nada! It won't pay my bills; it won't heal my pains; it won't bring Mr. Perfect into my life; hell, it won't do anything positive for me!

jloz, YES sometimes that is how a professional would act!!! My Psychologist gave me coping strategies for self harm and said if after 10 mins i still felt the need, its OK to do it. There's reasons behind strategies and if you don't understand them then don't comment. My mum is also a professional and very rarely takes the molly coddling approach, do you know how many bunches of flowers she's received for turning peoples lives around??

No doubt, Dooey! How many times, patients are hurting because of broken bones, heart failures, etc. They have to think positively to get up and get well. They are pushed beyond their limit of strength, just a little bit at a time by the physical therapists. Oh sure, they can just sit or lay in the bed all day, and cry, "Poor me, I'm in too much pain to move," but that doesn't cut it with the PT, or the nursing dept. We must push these people to a degree or they'll never get better!
