jloz, we're not doubting how she's feeling and we are listening. suggesting that she start thinking positively is NOT patronising. a mountain is only too big to climb if you decide it is. you only need to look at the likes of Jane Tomlinson to understand this. Sometimes a reality check is what people need to kick start their recovery. We're not being rude or condescending. This is our way of helping, it doesnt have to match yours to be the right way. Molly coddling people isn't always the best approach!

i dont think i can
listen to this:
"Fibromyalgia is also associated with extreme fatigue, which can make the pain of the illness even harder to bear. It can also have a great impact on a person’s ability to go to work, take care of their family, or even engage in simple daily tasks"
what kind of life is that to look forward to??

LOL, i love it!
here, here i second that.
I find that to be extremely rude almost to the point where i think you should be reported. look up cerri's profile she is in an EXCELENT mood and more into "astrol projection"? There's a lol, people compalaining about clothing sizes and astrol projection get more positive results than a woman suffering from fibromyalgia. SHAME ON YOU PPL!!

Sorry to have to disagree with you, but, depression in absloutley not something that you "get over" whether in theory or actal fact. You can give it drugs and medications, you can deal with it, you can live above it much of the time, but for those who suffer depressioin, the daily battles are always there. And there is NO getting around that.
You spoke of the value of your life..."value" is an opinion which varies from one individual to another. What you find to be invalid, others may treasure greatly. And whats more, you choose what you value. So if you don't value the quality of your life, its because you chose to do this. Listen to those around you who find your life to be valueable, is only to them. Hey...we are all unique individuals and we all have a purpose in life. Find yours.

I am not annoyed with you ,nor do I think that you should stop talking about how you feel. However other's might think you should feel- you feel how you feel. Physical pain and depression are an uneasy, sometimes exhausting mix. The only thing I have found that helps, at least a little, is meditation- whether this would work for you I can't say. I see that Nadine62 has responded to your post with some good links- I hope that you will try those.. and keep talking. You are not in this alone.

jloz39, just because you don't agree with how we're trying to help these people, doesn't mean you have to get so upset and threaten to report me, or anyone els!
Nobody is calling anybody any names here!
