It can't rain all the time. For people who have depression we are basically just waitinf for it to stop raining. It feels like we are in the middle of a thunderstorm or something that just won't past, the one thing we are dying for is a drought. I know that is what most of us want.
Sure it is going to rain from time to time, and when that comes, we can handle it the best we can, and if we can't do it alone, than we have friends to lean on, and people to turn to, to help us get through it. When it rains all the time, or feel like it is raining over the time.it makes living with our depression so much harder. It makes it feel like we are never going to be able to "Snap out of this funk" I don't think we could really snap out of it. If that was possible than, no one would be depressed for so long. Having depression is not easy, but it is something that we must deal with, if we don't deal with it, than it is just going to get worse and worse. and seem like we are not going to be able to handle it alone, even to be able to handle it with people surrounding us, and supporting us through this. So all in all, it can't rain all the time, we are just waiting for it to stop raining, sometimes, it may take the right meds, and that would just be what you need, but sometimes you need more, and it is still going to take some time. We are not just going to be okay over night, depression just doesn't cure overnight, but having the right attitude, people to support you, and having the right meds, and talking will help. Remember, it can't rain all the time. Posted on 12/04/08, 09:12 am |

Like the post, SO very true. But here on the wet coast (sorry I meant West-Coast), we in Vancouver anyway; have only 2 seasons:
Warm rain, & cold rain! Anything else is just a gift! This atleast for me, further worsens my depression, over-and-above what is innicially causing my depression.
