We have some apple trees in the backyard and lots of apples on the ground..the dogs like to eat the apples and usually it isn't a problem because usually the apples don't fall until they are ripe. For some reason there's lots of baby apples on the ground, my lab keeps eating them and they don't sit well in his stomach. He is laying here on the floor next to my desk and you can hear the *gas* escape, then smell this gawd-awful stink that almost gags you, then a few minutes later the dog goes flying out of the house to do his business ...you'd think he'd stop eating apples..but since i am the one with half a brain i better get outside and get those apples raked up!

lol im sorry but that is funny. My lab used to stink us out too. But I never actually heard a dog fart until my bulldog that I have now. I will be petting here and it just squeeks lmao its to funny......until the smell!

I had a Dobie who would get tomatoes from the garden, carry them out, and eat one bite from them. Evidently, then she would remember that she did not like tomatoes. Then, she would go get another; like she thought the taste would change! It sounds liek it was a really GOOD thing that she was an outside dog! LOL!!
