I need help! I don't know what to do- Lamictal

I have posted a few messages here and I am freaking out. I have been on the Lamictal for 6 days at 12.5 mgs. along with tapering my paxil down, I went from highs to not being able to keep my eyes open. I don't know which medication it is or if it's a combination of both.

I am seriously contemplating just stopping the lamictal tonight. I am not getting much support at home. My husband knows that I am taking the medication and his philosophy is to up it to the 25 mgs tonight like I'm supposed to and see what happens.

Thursday and Friday I got so hyper and fuzzy headed that I coudn't stand it and had to take 2 mgs of Xanax to calm down. Today I have been so tired and lethargic that I haven't been able to function. I couldn't even go to my step-son's birthday party because I was so tired. I feel groggy and out of it and very spacey in my head.

Please help.

Becky

" Don't just stop anything...I'm seriously telling you to call the doctor on call.. If you are have that severe of a problem than they need to give you medical advice, either skip your dose of Lamicatl to night or increase you paxil or even call in something to counter act the overwhelming feelings you having. Believe me, I've been on both meds and even though they work or certain people there hard to come off of and certainly hard to start. and if your sensitive to medications, lamictal can totally screw with you.
