Nice stuff, easy reading

Whew, I actually have calmed down some. I took a good short nap this afternoon without falling into the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome thing. I then pushed myself to go biking. I pedaled my trail bike a short ways of about 9 miles / 14.48 kilometers. I did not ride hard though. On a scale of 1 to 5, I only did 3 with riding hard. It did me much good.

My friend of eight years, my buddy cat, Pest is so neat. He lost his brother, Pain a few weeks ago. That put a void in his life. Pest is filling the void with me. I so understand but it can get trying at times. Dang, is he ever a natural predator. When we go outside for a break he shows his automatic stalking gene. Pest will see a squirrel at a bird feeding thing on a nearby tree. Pest will go very low, stare for a bit, his tail slowing wagging, then he creeps up behind bushes and air conditioner units. He waits to make sure the squirrel is unaware of him… then like flash he jumps. Of course, the squirrel is aware of Pest’s presence and at the base of the tree. The squirrel quickly scrambles up the tree and chatters at Pest below. I would not let the squirrel get hurt of course. I have warned squirrels and birds in the past when Pain & Pest had too excellent of a chance of get the little guys.

Although, I surely believe animals have feelings, they do not fret over death like us complicated simple human beings. Pest is over Pain’s death and is ready for a new little playmate. Pest is getting his little playmate tomorrow afternoon… maybe even two… that will drive Pest crazy :-) Well, I have a different look on death than most people who I have met. Actually, there is not any death. But that is me.

Might all of you find a moment or two of peace,
RICHARD
