everyminute.org is a new grassroots campaign that is envisioning a future where stigma is eradicated by the education and honest discussion on the personal, societal, educational and national level about the reality of mental illness. An educated public will support themselves, their friends and their family by declaring their social concern in a unified voice that can be heard and represented accurately in Congress.
On the site is an online declaration where advocates can physically sign their name using a mouse to declare that mental health research needs to be better funded. In just over a week, the campaign has received over 70 signatures just by word-of-mouth and grassroots efforts. Please check it out, and let's start a discussion about what you all think about it!
