" Well my children have always been around me so they understand better than my husband.
He is learning by reading on it and I think he understands me more since we lost our son. It has changed how he understands me. "

" My two older kids (20 and 17) are very sweet and they try to understand. My parents are both deceased, but my brother cares and although I dont think he quite gets it, he is supportive of me.

My best support is from an ex b/f (weird, I know!) ...but it's because he has suffered with depression for years. He understands so well, and always makes me feel better. "

" Not even a little bit. My family is the type that thinks people with mental/addiction illnesses are just attention seekers that can control themselves with an on/off button.

I just hide behind a mask, pretend everything is ok and go on with life when they are around. Easier than dealing with them. "
