Never had a real life encounter though I do believe in ghosts. Want a good ghost story? Read 'Haunted' by Tamara Thorne - it's my favorite!

i have been haunted my entire life. i was thinking of writing a book. here's one story for ya:

i have frequent dreams where i am being chased by ghosts or demons. its a short dream but very real and very scary. every time i wake up the next morning with 3 scratches on my lower right side towards my back. they are usually pretty deep with a thick scab and are patterned to be like claws or something.
when my bf moved in with me i told him about my dreams. a couple nights after i told him i had the dream again - but this time my entire back was scratched up. the look on his face was horrifying.

Oh Ive told mine before... Ive seena few ghosts, and I do believe in them, im just not sure what they are exactly.

silver moon thats creepy - u might be subconscieously doing it. I had a dream the other day where there was ghost and it said there are ten depths of life in the skin. it was weird. had no encounters though only in dreams

i know that ghost exsits
as my mum comes frequently to watch over me when im in a bad way in fact she is with me now. i can smell her perfume in the room

she even sent me a lovely sign she was there for me last year but thats another story one for the journal i think x

when i have the energy to venture out of my house other than for work - i like to go ghost hunting. i have gone to Philadelphia's State Penn with the MD Ghost Hunter's Society. i guess after being scared my entire life i feel like i need to be in control this time around and figure out what's been happening.

I actually do have a story. I'm from Pennsylvania and not far from my old home in Fayette county, there was the home for Albert Gallatin. Mr. Gallatin's property was rather huge and expansive. Nevertheless, when my Mom, my older half brother, and myself decided to take the long 4 mile hike around the out skirts of the property. We came to what looked like a forgotten graveyard. There were old tombstones and foot stones, even just regular stones as well. I told my Mom that the unmarked stones were probably that of servants or slaves.

As we started back to the house, we started hearing voices, behind us and the sounds of leaves crackling behind us too. I even waited behind just to see if anyone was around and there was nothing. When I took off I could still hear the mumbling and the leaves crackling whenever I stopped to see if someone was behind me. Those footsteps just kept on coming until I finally made it up to the house.

We eventually started going back there just to see if we were crazy or not. Every time we went there it is was the same thing. We eventually started telling the park rangers about what was going on in the woods. Turns out I was right about the unmarked stones, they were servants graves and the major tombstone was that of an owner after Albert Gallatin.

A few encounters...orbs of light...voices.

Ive seen a ghost, came face to face with him once.. he was a friend of my dad's when they were young boy's.. and died tragically, there was always stuff happening in our house when I lived with my dad.. cutains opening by themself, the fridge opening.. doors.. stuff like that, then one night, I must have been about 11.. I went to look out side for my brother, and there he was, standing there as plain as day.. gray looking, but it was him... we stared at each other for what seemed like 5 min's.. then he just turned and walked away! very cool.
