Yesterday my dad had such a good day. We were all hopeful....Today he had a really bad day. He's talking like he doesn't now how to go on again. What can I say to him? From 600 miles away? What do I say??? I feel so helpless and I don't want to lose him!

" This unfortuantly is all part of his breakdown, it will take a long time. I can't say how long as I dont know and each individual has different ways of coping.I strongly recommend you use all the aids you have available for advice. I wish I could say that it will all be ok and i HOPE SO so much. Your doing your best 600 miles isn't like living next door, you'd be there if you could but you can't,it's no ones fault it just happens. Tell him you love him. That you want to help but don't know how and above all as difficult as it gets don't blame yourself. Ilnesses happen.Your a good person and a loving daughter and I know that even though we've not met. Be well. "

" sometimes it takes alot of time to heal, all you can do is let him know you support him and please take care of yourself, we all wish things could clear up in the snap of a finger, but it's all a waiting game. good luck and hope he gets better, stay strong!! "
