Our daughter has been dx. with severe mood disorder. I was just wondering other then good therapy and meds what else can we do as a family to help her to be the best she can be? The therapist gave us a plan to work on at home,but I was just wondering what other parents did that was a help tp their child,

what kind of mood disorder? my son is diagnosed with Bipolar NOS (early onset), as well as OCD, GAD and ADHD. He's on Depakote, a small dosage, to help level out his moods and stabilize him. He also takes Adderall XR, again a small dosage, to help him with his ADHD at school. He's also been in therapy for two years now, which has helped tremendously.
