I'm new to this forum.does anyone in the DDD group work with a rheumatologist? Do you think it helps? what kind of things do they advise? or is it strictly medications to overcome pain? what other things or drs. have people used for DDD that you thought helped. open for suggestions.

" My rheumie diagnosed my DDD while investigating back pain. He primarily treats me for fibromyalgia and inflamatory arthritis. He has put me on PT at times and I found the TENS unit helpful for my back, but mostly as a sporadic relief because the benefits don't extend much beyond while I'm actually using the unit. Light and life to you. "
