Got lots to do today (for me anyhow). Pick up the yard and mow. Then wash the van. We are going to meet a possible "girl friend" for Duke. Duke is my boy, a 10 yo Doberman in the picture. We are thinking about fostering a 10 yo Boxer. I think he will enjoy her and it will give him someone to play with since I am not able to play with him much. Physical Therapy has been such a blessing to me. I'm getting stronger day by day. I can do the bike for 10 mins at level 5, the elliptical at level 8 for 10 mins, even the stepping machine, level 5 for 6 mins(I haven't done that in twenty years!) Water Aerobics I do for seventy five minutes. I'm still in pain, but pain won't wear me down. I finish the last epidural inj...

Today I read that the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is breaking ground in downtown Seattle purporting to cost some $500,000,000. In general I am doing a bit better this evening. I went to Doctor and told them about the ER doc. So if I should choose to do so I may just report him and how he treated me. I got some new pain meds to try for the next 2 wks. This was the most pain I had experienced since I had hysterectormy in my middle 30s. Well it's 6:30 pm here, just got home a half hour ago. Kristen, Ashley and I went to visit Marcia today. We had a wonderful lunch of Kugel and fresh veggies, and spent the afternoon talking and laughing. It was a wonderful visit! It was hard to tear myself away, but at 4:30 I knew I had to go LOL. I went to my family doc today for my usual checkup and it actually went very well. I have lost 10lbs since surgery 13 days ago, I am very happy about that, but have no clue as to how I managed that, but I will take it! My A1C is 5.8 just right!! I am also happy about that! Hurricane Dolly Update
The family is doing well. It is a little after 4:40 p.m. Central Standard Time. We are currently experiencing sustained winds between 55 and 75 mph and gusts up to 85 mph. We are also currently experiencing horizontal rain and weak tornados in the area. Flooding will soon be a concern because the storm is moving so slow now. A tree in our front yard is down. Well it is two thirty in the morning and I am wide awake. I woke up with an acidic stomache. I probably deserve it. I had wayy to many sweets yesterday. My tears have been so numerous lately. I wish they could cleanse my soul as the water in my shower cleanses my body. Instead I cry over the same things over and over and over. Like a litany of pain. It just never seems to release me from it's horrid grip. They are hot as they run down my face. Burning. Leaving their mark long after they have evaporated into salt tracks on my skin. It is deep,
it is sharp,
it was a shattered
piece of my heart!
It's been there,

I have been isolating. I do not know why. I have not been out of the house except to get the mail in more than two weeks. Some of it is due to pain. What the rest entails, I do not want to look at too closely right now. It is hard to go out and pretend to have a good time when your body is wracked with pain day in and day out.
