Has anyone noticed a difference in their INR when they switched to Jantoven by Upsher Smith labs?

I was recently switched to this brand by my script provider and was just wondering what anyone else had noticed. I've been stable on the warfarin I was on and I hate when they switch me. I know the fillers they add can cause havoc.

Thanks

Kev

" Kev,

Don't know anyone who specifically uses Jantoven. I've personally only had luck while on Coumadin itself. The couple of times the Naval hospital switched to generic warfarin (which according to most medical studies, generic warfarin should be as effective as coumadin brand warfarin) my INR levels were not consistent.

There are folks out there who take other brands of warfarin without problems. Might be a matter of getting your system used to Jantoven. "
