Does anyone know if it is possible to develop new clots while on Coumadin?
I am feeling some discomfort in my left leg, which is the one that had the DVT a month ago. It's not pain, but it feels different than my right leg. I know there is probably permanent damage to the veins in my left leg after the DVT, which may be the problem. I think I am just being paranoid about whether or not the discomfort could be coming from new clots instead of the damage that is already there. Even if there are new clots, I have an IVC filter so I should be OK. I have an appointment with a vascular surgeon on July 15...and I'm just wondering if I should maybe get it checked out before then? Posted on 06/23/08, 04:06 pm |
