I've been feeling somewhat stressed lately. My Ob that I have been seeing for the longest time referred me to someone in the city that I currently live in back on July 2-3. I have yet to hear from the new ob's office. I am not going to want to drive 45-60 minutes ...

This last week has been very interesting. Worked a different schedule -doing a lot of staff teaching this week -different, but I wouldn't want to do it all the time. Just got back from the Hematologist. I now am a Lifer. Warfarin for life that is. Her rational is that my DVT was so severe & caused so much damage that there really is no reason to risk another one. Said that it is a quality of life issue. Since my life was so disrupted and changed by the first clot, what would a second one do to me? Eh, wednesday I just reached a new front an INR of 2.5 jumping from a 1.5 on monday to a 2.5, got to be able to keep it thrapeutic!!!!
Next bloodwork is on monday.

I dont think I've told you all yesterday but because of this dating disaster I had I've started smoking again. It is not good because while I feel that smoking does help me relax somewhat, I've noticed that my leg with the DVT is starting to hurt again. We are going away for the weekend, but this time away will be very stressfull, Ralph's dad is very ill, sadly it looks like he won't be with us much longer. So im not really sure how things are gonna go...I will try and log on to let you all know when i will be back, but i can't promise.
