Through an ultrasound, my internist told me that I have cysts on my thyroid. She wants me to see a Endocrinologist for a second opinion. Frankly, I'm not even sure what the first opinion is, but needless to say, I'm concerned.
I know that there are several folks on this forum who also have thyroid issues. I am convinced there's a relation to the blood clots. My hematologist said there could be but he didn't go into much detail and that was before I was diagnosed with the cysts. Hmmm..I haven't heard of this. I know my thyroid is fine...but I also know my clots were caused by 2 genetic mutations.
