Yes, I have it a lot as well, in my knees, fingers, hips and wrists. I was diagnosed with UC-related arthritis, which is very common with UC.

Yes yes yes. It is from the inflamation going on in your body. I had it too. I am so sorry that you are suffering with that. I hope you feel better and get some relief.

Oh yeah! Call me the Tinman looking for his oil can. I hurt all over. When I'm in a bad flare I can bearly walk because it feels like my feet are broken.

I have never had joint pain with my UC until this current flare I'm in. The joint pain came before any symptoms of the flare. It seems to be mostling in my shoulders and upper back, arms and knees. While it stays in my back pretty constantly, it seems to not be in all the joints at one time. Sometimes, my left shoulder will hurt, sometimes my right elbow. It's as if the inflammation is traveling through out my body.
My hip is also starting to bug me. I actually am limping. Just before I went to sleep the other night, my husband said, "Good night, old bag." Nice.

Yep, it is. I posted something about this a while ago and someone told me that there is a specific type of arthritis that is linked to UC and Crohn's. My hips and shoulders really hurt. I had trouble walking up the stairs, getting in and out of my car, raising my arms above my head--ugh. I told my doc and he gave me a scrip for it and it went away. Tell your doc and he/she should be able to help you. Don't just take the pain, because it will only get worse.

Yes! I've got CD and I was having this pain even before I was diagnosed, but now I realise it all fits together, part of the lovely package of symptoms we can expect. I have it bad in my toes, fingers and knees. And yeah, I've been limping around too, especially walking down stairs and hills OUCH! I've even got little rheumatoid nodules on my fingers and toes now, too. I'm only 37, I feel 97!! I'm just so tired of taking drugs though, I wish there was something more gentle and effective I could take...
