Changing Statins and symptoms

I changed from Crestor to Simsvastatin in early July ..within days I had numbness in my feet and painful cramping in my feet.
I have always had poor circulation in my feet but nothing like this has ever happened.
The various M.D.s don't see the connection and tests have determined neuropathy...
the pharmacist said he has heard of this before and advised stopping the statins for a week to see what the result was...I did and the cramping diminished and it's not as painful..still have cramping but not full time.
Anyone else ever experienced this? Ideas?

" Thanks for the reply...while on Crestor I didn't have these symptoms..I've been on Crestor almost 10 months ...I'm thinking the simsvastatin poisoned me somehow and caused the rapid nerve damage acceleration but can't get any doctor to say one way or the other...I don't have diabetes. One doctor says it may be due to "pre diabetes" sometimes I think it's all guess work and I need to be eating Big macs and fries to beat heart disease :) "
