I'm trying to collect as much info as I can on heart valve replacement surgery, so if anyone can tell me what to expect let me know.

Similar to Open Heart Surgery, though instead of fixing the blocked arteries, they will replace your valve.
Google Heart Valve Replacement, and you should get info from Mayo Clinic or Cleveland Clinic or something come up.

Hello, had double heart vlave replacement just over a year ago and boy what a great diference to my daily life. The op was long and of course sore afterwards and I missed work initially(fool eh) Took a while for the actual physical hurt ie chest etc to heal completely and even now still find some things give me a sort of twinge especially sneezing. But am doing good though sleep is a hit and mis affair because of the various meds. Please feel free to ask any specific questions and if I know the answer will gladly tell you.
