" I'm on asprin, I don't know for sure if it's working. And I will explain why. They say that asprin is a blood thinner. Well I am on 3 hundred and something mg's of asprin, I have been cut 2 times shaving, but I to this point have ever had a problem stopping the bleeding. So I can't say if it really works or not. "

" my husband is on 81mg of asprin a day. In February he had a heart attach, the EMT's gave him additional asprin and nitro pills to help him. It did help his heart attach it was only a mild one. But we did find out that he had to have bypass surgery, which he had in May. The 81mg works great for him. I myself take 325mg of coated asprin a day and haven't had a problem with bleeding or anything. "

" Its starting to look like the long studies on women and heart disease (Nurses Health Study and Women's Health Initiative) that 81 mg of ECASA daily is as good for prevention of heart disease and stroke at 325 mg...and less risk of bleeding from GI tract
