This is my story:
I have a wonderful son, Mikey, he is almost 5 years old. My husband was diagnosed with bi-polar disorder at a younge age and my 5 year old is showing some of the same signs my husband does. We first started noticing a change in him when he started acting out and things progressed. It hurts me to say this, but he actually killed 2 kittens that we got him as play mates. It breaks my heart to see him act the way he does because I can only imagine what his poor mind is going through when he has his fits. He gets so mad over the littlest things that he clenches his fists and jaw and just screams. I have been getting to the end of my rope with things that I wasnt sure where to turn; then I found this group. The description is very reflective of my son and I think I have found this group just in time. Mikey has now gotten to the point where he hurts his younger brother (Carter who is 2)and I dont know where else to turn.
